For those of you with a Bakflip and a factory drop in bedliner

For those of you with a Bakflip and a factory drop in bedliner, what did you do with the drain hose from the bottom of the Bakflip? Did you drill some holes in the bedliner and route the drain hose into the bed drain? Did you just let the water drain into the bed? Or perhaps there are some other creative ideas?

I bought longer hoses, and ran them down the sides of the bed to the tailgate.

Excellent idea. Did you just run the tubing into the bottom corner on each side of the tailgate?

Yep! Takes about 7' of tubing on each side.

Re: For those of you with a Bakflip and a factory drop in bedliner

I let mine drain to the bed. I pressure wash my truck almost every week, been though some serious downpours on the hwy, and have never had more than a faint trickle in the bed to show for it. And what does get in there stays in the outer channel of the bed anyway. But if it makes you feel better, then I suppose you can run them to the back like bbomar.

What type of tubing did you use? Size(diameter)?

Re: For those of you with a Bakflip and a factory drop in bedliner

I ended up using 5/8 i.d. by 3/4 o.d. clear tubing. It was a tight fit, but hopefully that will keep it from coming off.
