Problem with Blendmount

Well, I got my SGII/Blendmount combo in the mail today. Quick delivery, too.

But wouldn't you know it, it didn't have the variable length hex mounts in the package. It only had the long one. Of course, it's too long and it won't fit behind the mirror.

Anyone else have this problem?

I guess I'll have to call the company Monday.

On the upside, according to the SGII, I was getting 15MPG while towing my PopUp today.

Re: Problem with Blendmount

Well, I guess I was wrong. Here's the reply from customer service:

A 2007 Titan with 7/8” diameter linkage should take the 1” long standoff. The “universal” kit consists of a 1/2” and 3/4” long stand off with 5 washers that are about 1/16” thick. If I sent you the universal kit you would have to use a 3/4” long standoff with 4 washers to get the 1” standoff length. Sending you the 1” standoff eliminates any guess work on your part and is a cleaner install. Check these pics out, especially the angle placement pic, and let me know if you still have a problem. I will send you what ever you need for your install.

Re: Problem with Blendmount

I just installed mine and the 1" worked fine. I did use the the hole that offsets the gauge to the left some. Keep working on it, it takes some time to get just right.
