Extang Trifecta

Anybody have one of these ? I've looked on their website, and was wondering if this thing is solid or is it material over a aluminum frame.

Thanks

Bill

Re: Extang Trifecta

It's not fiberglass, if that's what you're asking. It's fabric over an aluminum frame. I have one. Pics in my photo gallery. Good cover for the money, IMO. Lots less than the Lund and almost identical.

You can fit the Bakflip with the utili-trac. All you have to do is remove the rails and turn them upside down and it should fit with no problems. Others on here have done this with success.

I hope that didn't make your decision harder....

Well, Billy, nothing like planning ahead. When I ordered my truck back in 1995 (obviously NOT the Titan), I had a bunch of stuff already bought and waiting in the garage for when it arrived. I mean, what's a new truck if you don't have a welcome home present for it when it gets there?

Re: Extang Trifecta

I have the Trifecta & I like it a lot.

I've had others & this is my favorite. It's simple to use & install. It takes longer to open the box than it does to put it on.

Thumbs up Re: Extang Trifecta

I have the Trifecta also. The main reason I went with it, is that it does not interfere with the bed extender. No mods required and it installs in two minutes. It does not leak and folds back to a secure position in seconds.

Re: Extang Trifecta

I've had my Trifecta for about a month now and I love it. It was a great purchase for ~$300.

I went with it because the release is under the cover so if I lock my tailgate it is somewhat secure. Sure someone can cut through the cover and get what I have in the bed, but it's more secure than a cheap snap-on cover. I also love that I can completely remove it in 30 seconds if I need to use the entire bed. It's light and portable.

IMO, You can't go wrong with this cover.

Re: Extang Trifecta

^^^Exactly the reason I love it as well. Plus, not only is it easy to put on and off, but you don't really need help doing it. It's a one person job!

Re: Extang Trifecta

The Trifecta is vinyl and a very simple yet effective cover. It has very good weatherstiping. I do not recommend BAK products. They have had LOTS of problems, the most recent being a glue problem in the summer heat.
