Door Handle

Does anyone know how to remove and install door handles. I have tried to access them through the interior of the door, but I still could not remove them. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. It is for a '05 Titan.

- find the plastic caps in the inner door edge and remove
- take a 6pt/torx driver and undue the screw; it loosens and should stay in place (captured)
- pull out smaller piece of the handle
- slide over the larger piece and pull out
