overhead compass/tempature display

Hello does anyone know how I can find the unit that goes in the overhead console, that displays the compass/tempature. I have been unable to find the assembly to buy.

Re: overhead compass/tempature display

just my opinion, but I hate that thing. I have it in my 2007 truck, but I loved it more when it was in the rearview mirror in my 2004. It was so much easier to read, now I have to completely take my eyes off the road to see it.

Do you have it in the mirror already? If not, maybe you can search for a 2004 rearview mirror from the SE and LE trims.

Re: overhead compass/tempature display

I can see that it is not in a great location, but I am desperate. I bought an aftermarket temp/compass mirror. It has not been that great, I have had power problems and the compass usually is off as well as the temperature. The heat of the truck greatly effects it. I have moved the sensor around with no luck. I figured if if went with something factory it would give better readings and be a better fit.

Thanks for the heads-up

Courtesy Nissan Parts sell an original OEM Mirror with the compass and it dims automatically. I look forward to grabbing it.

yep you're right. Here's the link:

cp.16 - this is right up your alley, and it even includes the homelink transmitters too.

I preferred the location of the compass in the 2004 I test drove, but now I've grown accustomed to looking up for the direction. Plus, the degrees are more specific in the ceiling models.

Re: overhead compass/tempature display

The overhead compass/temp. display is a $600 piece. The mirrors is a better option IMO.
