Bye, bye amber in the headlights. Found a great mod on ebay.

I ordered these off of ebay after debating painting my headlights and thought I would give them a shot. I bought them from a seller named danno0427 on ebay who has a store called Aggresiveoverlays.
Here is a link to a current auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...mZ320069852402

This kit runs about $36.50 shipped and came really quickly. It comes in 4 pre-cut pieces and I decided not to install the upper parts on my lights since I was mainly looking to black out the amber in the headlight. It was really easy to install and you will have to use a razor blade or exacto knife to cut them to line up right. push very gently when cutting and you will not scratch your light, trust me I lightly scratched one side of mine.

This would also be an ideal mod for those 08 Titan owners who do not like all of the extra amber Nissan added to the new headlights.

Here are a few pics of what I did.

my thoughts exactly... but that looks good. I'm looking to take out the reflectorized section all together, maybe a clear reflector kit or complete removal of the reflectors.

Looks good. Got rid of most of the side amber. Now silverbulb the turnsignals, and you'll clean up the front. Nice job! Been considering this myself, even though I'll probably get flamed from the tint-haters.....

Re: Bye, bye amber in the headlights. Found a great mod on ebay.

Possibly. But I live near Little P.R.... commonly known as Allentown. The cops around here don't really stop any of them with the illegal tints or double-parked cars or busted lights or loud music or fart can exhaust.... all of which are ticketable offenses. I worry more about the inspection stations than the police around here. Too many DD's to preoccupy them.
