Intakes, are any of them any louder or quieter than others. Im getting the JBA Exhaust and looking for intake. Is any particular intake going to be any louder than any other. -Rus

Re: Help Wanted

By the title I thought I had me a job!! I would say they are all very close in sound. My volant gen 3 was louder than I wanted and it was a complete sealed box. I bought it because I thought it being a sealed box it would be quieter. If the filter is open like they all are they will have more sound to them. Now the Volant 3 also has a snorkle the get air from out front through the hook opening on the bumper and that might make it a little more quiet because it is no longer sucking through the fender.

Re: Help Wanted

All of the aftermarket intakes will be a little louder. The stocker has a couple of resonating chambers on it to quiet it down.

I just put on the Volant today (my first mod...YAY) and under normal driving conditions, it was just as quiet as stock. But once you get into the throttle...
