Anyone know proven method of installing offroad lights in the lower air dam opening, seen couple of trucks with this done, very clean look. Wondering if just drilled, or added so sort of reinforment?
In the lower airdam opening there are three holes w/ plastic caps in them at the top. I had to widen them out a small amount to get the bolts the came w/ my PIAA's into them. Other than that I just put a washer on the bolts when I bolted them down. Holding up just fine. No pics since at work but could prob find pics from when I did it under a search.

Don't have any pics of the install but it was pretty straight forward. Pull plastic caps out of holes at top of lower grill. Drill out the hole a little bit to accept bolt. Place washer over bolt, guess you really don't have to use one but I did, tighten nut to secure. Connect PIAA harness's. Wire up to battery, run wires and then find a location to mount switch. Could do it a lot faster a second time if I needed to.

installed today, was just as easy as you said, only problem was finding location for the relay and my wireless switch transmitter. man is it tight and clean under the hood. thanks again

I havn't had any wiggle in mine. Still in the same spot as where I tightend them down at. Only widened the hole enough to squeeze the bolt through.

Is there a reason the center light is a tad lower than the other two? Did you add washers to achieve that or was it necessary so that it would fit between the others?
What size of lights are you guys running?
Does it make a difference having them upside down?
Would this lightforce light work? Not sure about mounting them upside down.
My PIAA's are a 6" light. Pretty slim profile. Directions say you can mount them upside down as well. Just have to rotate the lens so can read PIAA. Why? I don't know, but I did it and periodically have some condensation in them. If I was to do it again I would just leave the lens as is. It can't make that much of a difference.
