Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way I see it, is this...
Banks is loud and drones in the cab
Borla is way loud
Gibson is raspy and not so smooth sounding
Magnaflow is a little louder than stock
B&B is awesome but big money

Thats just what I've gathered through the years on this site. Anyone with personal experience, please correct me.

JBA is also pretty popular. There are several good threads on exhaust in performance section.

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone I've talk to stated that Magnaflow is louder than Borla. THey say Borla is about 70% loudness of Magnaflow.

But I prefer my Zoomers. It costs almost half, no drone, growls when WOT, and it made from same 304 grade SS as Borla.

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put a cherry bomb extreme muffler in the place of the stock muffler and had them put a turn down on it. I think it sounds good. Only cost me $100.

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didnt' see anyone mention the Corsa exhaust system. I have heard it on many other vehicles and was very impressed by it. They pride themselves on the quiet cab noise while still having a very nice exterior tone. I was excited to see they finally released the system for the Titan but they swear it only fits 04-06 and not the 07. Any ideas?

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been with the Banks for several years now and a K&N CAI. I love the sound of it and to this day find myself rolling down the windows just to hear it at full throttle.

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flip a coin they are all pretty good systems. I went with Zoomers. Great customer service by the way.

Re: I wanna buy a Exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son had a local muffler shop install his dual exhaust for his 00' Tundra V-8. It sounds great but its a little too loud for my taste. The mufflers were Magnaflow with 3.5 in slash cut ss tips. The entire kit was $315 including labor but the exhaust is NOT stainless steel so expect it to rust within a couple of years. I've heard a couple of Titans running around locally with dual exhaust and believe me they sound very similiar to a Dodge Ram with the Hemi.
