For stage two that is. Stage 3 consists of a winch and some plating.

LOL, sorry, no mass production. I would gladly sell the design to a company so they could mass produce it though.

I spent a little over $100 on material to make it. Tube is cheap. The labor is what will get you.

This is the only pic I have of it off the truck.

Some of the bracing hasn't been completed also. I just realized that....

The one on the left was done up with an M-249 and a SOG. The one on the right was done up with some beretta semi auto mp5 look alike.

Re: Stage 2 almost done

Hey that looks really great. What size of tubing is that? It's the perfect size. I like it. It's always a great feeling to complete something like that with your own bare hands. Could you maybe take some pics from different angles?

I used 95% 1 3/4" .120 wall. I can take some pics when I get a chance this weekend. I'm crazy busy at work and other projects.

Re: Stage 2 almost done

i wish i had your bumper this morning.. i was pissed on my way to work and scoped out some nice targets.. trashcans.. i wanted to blast through them but then thought i'd probaby hurt something or add a dent to my bumper.. so i decided to just floor it up a hill and feel torque... instant smile

dumb question, is that bumper street legal? I know it was made for off road but could you get away with driving it to work?

I don't see why it wouldn't be legal. I didnt modify any of the crush zones or air bag sensors. I didn't cut anything off or weld anything onto the frame. I used mild steel instead of chromoly so it would crush in a crash. Is there a Governing body that has standards for bumper construction? I there are standards in place, everyone with bumpers from road armor, fab 4, warn, arb, etc will have a problem as well.
