Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

Am I the first to do this modification? It took a bit of patience, but I installed the both Armada from air dam/spoiler and the OEM Brush Guard and kept my front OEM skid plate. No pictures yet, but I will post as soon as I can get a chance. I must admit it was not an easy task, but I am proud to see the finished product.

Re: Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

Thanks for the feedback.

It is Nissan OEM Grille Guard for the Titan/Armada 2004; Part Number PDC: 999T4-WQ300 / VPC: 492T4GRILW93

Some forum members say it is ugly, but I like it and the fit was amazingly perfect. The included installation instructions aren't as clear and specific in all areas, but I did the install myself. I recommend not following the torque specs in all cases because one of the bolts snapped requiring me to use and improve upon my bolt extraction skills. I just made sure ever bolt was firmly fastened without using undue force to do so.

Re: Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

Awesome! Thanks! I wouldn't worry to much about what everybody thinks. I 've been looking for a guard for a while but cant seem to find one that doesn't require the removal of the tow hooks( I really want to keep em ) Nissan's oem are pricey but it looks like it the way to go

Re: Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

I hope you realize that even with the OEM Brush Guard the tow hooks must be removed, but you'll still have the wholes on both sides of the lower section as a substitute.

Re: Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

Why leave the skid plate on? The spoiler renders it useless.

Not UNDER the truck where it does the most good. Worst case, he'll rips the spoiler off. What's that, $18? Who cares? At least he didn't poke a hole in the oil pan...

Did you modify the air dam? That's a first I've seen, looks good.

From the angle in the photos, it looks to me like anything that was going to hit the skid plate will rip the spoiler off first. I guess if he doesn't actually take it off road it doesn't matter, but there doesn't seem to be a way for the skid plate to protect anything with out the spoiler taking the shot first.

Re: Front Spoiler w/ Skid Plate & OEM Brush Guard

I appreciate the feedback, but each has a seperate function;the skid plate is protection and the front air dam is to flow the air for added down force along with improved stability for the best of both worlds of functionality. Actually, what you don't see is the reinforced metal I've placed behind the center of the air dam, which was designed in for added rigidity, but not damage proof.
