Just picked up a set of the icons last night. Damn they're good. Quiet as sin and zero streaks. Way better then the PIAA's I had before. The Piaas where quiet too but always left on streak that would never go away no matter how I cleaned them. I made sure to prep them too using the wipe that comes with them. I'm picking up another set tonight for the wifes car. I have to admit they are way pricey though, but I'm sure to suck it up the next storm we have.
On another note. Is there any particular way to maintain them?

Funny you ask about maintaining them.....i had read before that if you take a cloth with some rubbing alcohol and wipe them it helps get some of the trash off. (kinda like a window seal/sill when you install rainouts) I dont know if this helps life of wiper or not, just kinda cleans them if you are getting some streaks.

Rubbing alcohol works great, but some of the newer types of wipers (I don't know about the ICONs, but some types of Bosch wipers I've bought in the past did) have graphite on the blades, like some kind of dusting or something. The first time you clean them with rubbing alcohol, you wipe that off.
Kinda like cleaning your carpet with bleach I guess. It WILL come clean, but it may not ever look right again.
Okay, it's not really remotely like cleaning your carpet with bleach. I'm bad with examples.
