Billet Replacement Grille - How difficult is the install?

Is there any cutting necessary? How long is the install?

Also, is the lower billet piece a pain?

Depends on what type of grille you're putting in. I have the T-Rex inserts that bolt right over the black honeycomb part of the grille. And the lower insert (as well as my fog light inserts) screw right into the plastic. Nothing to it!

Re: Billet Replacement Grille - How difficult is the install?

Make sure it says bolt on. I got a generic one on ebay and it was easy, bolts right over the black honeycomb.

Bottom piece I used 2 black zip ties (read it on another post) no problem.

I'd recommend getting a stainless steel one. Mine is aluminum and looked great for about a year, now its a little dingy...

Yeah, I think ive seen them called the t-rex or whatever. Pretty sure you can just unclip the whole front chrome and honeycomb as one piece, lemme see if I can find the post on it, I actually did that when installing my billet, a lot easier to handle (plus it was like 20 degrees outside so I brought the think in the house....

Grillcraft install, a picture book!!!!

He's doing a different install but good explanation of how to remove the factory piece, I think the one piece grilles just clip back in like the stock ones...
