bed extender knobs

Does anyone know where you can get replacement bed extender knobs. Nissan tells me I have to buy the entire extender to get the knobs.

I assume you're talking about the black knobs for the sliding bed extender rails? If so, that IS a good question.... Honestly, I would try either a professional fastener store or possibly an RV dealer. You may be able to find one at a lawnmower parts place. Many of the newer mowers with collapsible handles have these same kinds of knobs that tighten after you "unfold" the handles. My Craftsman mower had them. Just trial and error until you find something that fits.

like BB suggested shop around. You may even find them at one of the supporting vendor sites. I was looking for some hardware that was left out of my e-bay purchase. I spent some time at the Home Depot in their wonderful hardware bins that area always organized and found what I needed. You really can't beat the knobs for the bed extender though.. wouldn't be the same with a fastener, that is for sure. There also used to be a company called HELP that sold all the odd ball pieces that are hard to find for your car, interior clips, handles, things of that nature..

I'm right there with ya with the search for a new knob for my bed extender. I called Nissan as well and they told me I would have to buy the whole bed extender as well.

If you find something before I do, please PM me with the source! I've been searching for 3 months now.

Try contacting AMP research. They make the bed extenders and might be able to help you. I ordered the bed extender brackets from them when my dealer told me they didnt sell them separately and wanted me to buy a whole new extender. They might be able to sell you some knobs too, cant hurt to try and ask.

I contacted them and they got me all fixed up with a new knob, it should be in the mail soon from them and it was very inexpensive!
