The stalk actually sits behind the steering wheel, and is very easy to replace.
The kit comes with complete instructions!!

Re: Fog Light Accessory - 2008?

Has anyone installed these in a 2008 yet? I ordered them last week and received them today and it's the stalk for the 2007 and earlier models. Has anyone installed fog lamps in a 2008 yet? did you get the correct style stalk? I'm debating on installing them as the stalk is different, I know it will still work and no one would ever notice the difference, it's just not making me happy having to do it though....

Thanks...

Re: Fog Light Accessory

How different are they exactly?

I am thinking of purchasing the fog light setup also. Its the one thing my 08 didn't come with that I wish it did. That and 500HP.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

The end of it is more squared (still round though) than what you currently have on the 08-08.5. Attached is what it should like and what they are shipping...

These are the part numbers that I have researched and found to be correct;

999F1-YQ001 Fog light kit, OEM without auto headlights 08-08.5
999F1-A6001 Fog light kit, OEM without auto headlights 04-07

Now what I received today was the YQ001 part number, but it is the wrong stalk.

Beware when ordering. I'm sending this information off in hope of getting the correct stalk.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

The square one is the same that was on my 07 nismo frontier. I think I'm going to wait until the make the new style available before I place an order

I went with The Nismo Shop it was the cheapest as far as price of kit and shipping here is the link http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...product_id=549 but it did come with the older stalk so I went and found the new stalk part number part#25540-CM31E its for the '08 LE Model only order it here http://abcnissanwholesale.com/oem_parts.html it was $56.46 with shipping the cheapest from all the sites...side note still havn't got the stalk in yet to see if it is right more then likely it will have auto on it but the dealer can program it to work without having the sensor, I know cause I did it on my '06...and as far as instillation on the '08.5 it was a breeze. I had to spend the extra on the new stalk cause I don't like the way it looks with two diffrent ones My 2 cents anyways
