Tonneau Cover

Just got a 2008.5 KC and am thinking about getting a bed cover. What has been your experiences and preferences? Roll up, tri fold,or solid. Thanks, Bud

got a truxedo, attched to the rails and gives the truck a nice look, as much as it has been raining here, all the stuff in the bed has stayed dry.

Re: Tonneau Cover

Got the pace edwards electric cover, and I love it. Just hit the button and it opens, hit the other button and it closes. Don't have to worry about locking it, and the only place water gets in the bed is at the tailgate. Nissan left a huge space between the tailgate and the fenders. Can't blame the cover for the leaks. Nothing inside gets wet, but the edge of the bed gets some water. I don't think it matters what type you get, if it doesn't hang over the tailgate some water will get in. They are kind of expensive, but mine has been on for almost 3 years with no problems. The top is alluminum, not the fabric cover type.

Re: Tonneau Cover

I plan on buying the Pace Edwards JackRabbit myself, I looked at a lot of other brands in person, and not to stir you the wrong way or stomp on anyones preference, but all of them looked like crap but the jackrabbit.

Granted they're about 4 times as much

Re: Tonneau Cover

I have had rollnlock and retrax on past trucks and currently have the bakflip on my titan.. I highly recommend the rollnlock and retrax for the roll ups. It does take up some bed space at the front, but no much.. I like the bakflip I have now, if I need the entire bed, I can just fold it up and out of the way. I have the KC, so it has 4 sections, and it can be locked into place at any one of them....

Re: Tonneau Cover

I have a Truxedo Lo Pro and would recommend it to anyone. I looked at all of them and 3 large aftermarket retailers in the Pittsburgh area all claimed that it's their best seller, by far. They all also said that Extang was next.

Truxedo carries a lifetime warranty on everything including the tarp. Most seem to exclude the tarp in their warranty. It's simple and quick to install, unroll, and replace. I love it! I simply can't say enough good things about it. Check them all out before you decide though. It's all in what you like ultimately.

I have the Undercover, it's black, strong, and light weight. I haven't had any issues thus far.

Re: Tonneau Cover

I'm very impressed with the Retrax on the 07 Titan. Flush mount gives the bed a sleek look. Retractable operation glides smooth & locks in any position.
