Ok guys I been offroad several time and been thinking that if I get or someone gets stuck, I dont have any place where I can hook up a strap to my truck on the rear...
I looked for a hitch around my area but no one is selling them, and I dont want to pay mucho dinero ;D
So I have a few ideas and wanted to know if this would work or not...
number 1 (a member over at Clubfrontier Brutal has a similar set up )
Do you guys think that the titan bumper would be strong enough and hold up the abuse.
Brutal recommended runing a 1/4 metal on the back for support
parts need it... shackle (free) + mount ($15-25 at harbor tools) + 1/4 backing plate (free)
or
run tow hooks on the bottom of the bumper frame support
found this ones on ebay for like 30 dollars
I also found some at northern tools for 10 dollars
or go big pimpin' with some hummer chrome parts also found on ebay for around $150 for three, Im sure I can get only 2 or just 1 from the vendor for less. Maybe $50 or so
I am going to vote two thumbs down, one for the rinky dink bumper shackle mounts and another for the hay hook in the receiver instead of a receiver shackle.
Thanks for the link yellomantis Im going to try my dealer 1st see if they would do price match... s/h is too much. and Im sure that Im going to get some custom bumper like in a year or so I would not like to get this and than get rid off it in a yr.

What about one off this ones
With that, you are still putting all your eggs in one basket. You would still be relying on the strength of the bumper itself.
I think "hidden hitch" makes a receiver for our trucks now that you might be interested in. That could easily be integrated into a custom rear bumper.
