Question about bull bars

I am interested in getting one, does the westin or aries one that has the skid plate looking piece cover the bottom grille? i was going to get a buillit setup but if the bottom grille is gonna be covered i might just get the upper one. thanks guys.

The westin has the cover, not sure about the other one!

does it cover the lower grill on the bumper.

Aries has the cover for the lower grille. I've got one.

i know they have the skid plate, wanted to know how much it covers the grille? found some pics and the lower grill is still visible. i will have to get both upper and lower billit grills.thanks

They do a decent job of covering the lower grille opening. They don't go right up against the bumper and they aren't a solid skidplate, so it's your call. I put the lower grille insert in mine as well. But many don't bother.
