Rear Step

Was down at the Philly auto show today and was looking at a new Titan Off Road. It had a neat fold out step attached under the left side of the rear bumper. Got to get me one of those!(Price on the invoice was $250 but I bet one could be had for less than that.) Bud

Re: Rear Step

That's a feature on the '08.5, I believe.... Only available from a dealer as of yet... But if you find one, I'm sure there are many who would be interested in this!

Re: Rear Step

I've found on Ebay for cheaper than my local dealer. There are Nissan dealers selling these on ebay.

They won't let me post the links but go to ebay and type in "Rear bumper step assist"

Hope this helps!

Seems like one would be pretty worthless. What if what you are trying to get is on the other side of the bed????

Re: Rear Step

Need idea - but that's a lot of money for something that looks like a big rust trap.

Re: Rear Step

It is the Bed Step made by Amp Research. http://www.amp-research.com/products...es/bedstep.asp
Innovative idea, as is the Ford design, but neither would help me when loading my dirt bike.

Re: Rear Step

There's a removable (for obvious reasons) step that I saw at the local farm store. Basically a strap and a platform that slips over your tire and allows you to use your tire as a step. Pretty slick. Just don't forget it's there before driving off.

Re: Rear Step

I'm definitely buying one! One is better than none and right now it's a pain to load my equipment on my truck bed without a step.

Re: Rear Step

seems functional, but why not make one for both sides? Also, I would like it to be more hidden when not in use. oh well. I say they make a ramp that slides out like on a uhaul truck:

Re: Rear Step

i think the design like the new f 250 or 350 has is better, the step comes out of the open tailgate.... and is completely hidden when not in use....

I'll probably get one from my local dealer, $197 + tax. I found ebay to be a little more expensive for me.
