Are chrome big tow mirrors black underneath?
I have an '06 Titan LE with the chrome big tow mirrors. I'd like to go to black. Is the chrome a cover I can just take off or do they make a black cover I can purchase to go over the chrome? Any input would be helpful as I would like to cut down on all the chrome at least a little.

Yes its black underneath but you wont want to keep it that way. You will see all the holes behind it where the cover connects, plus its kinda recessed so to say. You can sometimes find them for sale on ebay or here in the buy/sell section.

What he said. For some reason, Nissan does not sell the black tow mirror covers so you will have to find someone to trade with. IMO, black looks way better. Good luck!
