06 le power folding mirrors working!!!!

hey fellas

i dont have them mounted yet, but i tested all wires and i have found (power folding, puddle lights, turn signals, and dimmer. i also was able to work the mirror movement all with just a 12v batterie.....all the wires are black so i was a little scared....i have a titan xe so its all on me as far as wiring. should be in by this week...if we get sum good weather..got sum soldering to do soon.

Cool! How much for the setup? Did you get the switch, also? I've though of replacing my tow mirrors, but then again, I have become quite accustomed to them. I love the power fold and puddle lights, though.

Looks like you had to break out all the test equipment to find the correct wires since they were all black. Thats got to be fun times there!

these are stock titan mirrors from a 06 le. i got a great deal on them from a member here that went with bt mirrors. all the wires are black so tracing the right wires is alot of fun

but so far so good...cant wait to put them in....still working on the control.....

Hopefully you document and pictorial your install. Then it would be another good item to add as a sticky!

I hope you put in the 06 LE wire door harness with the power folding mirror option. I had a 06 XE with the offroad package and I put in powered mirrors. I changed out the XE door wire harness with the SE wires.

i didnt buy the door harness. wiring it all up on my own. should have everything thing working really soon. waiting for my mirror switch and time

if you have cc its easyer. the kc dosent even have power windows. i already did power windows and locks....but i miss power mirrors,, so why not have power fold too

yesss!!!!!!! installed the mirrors today. i only have the power fold and turn sgnal connected right now. ive been waiting for my mirror swtich for ever now it seems. they work perfect. will take pics in the morning. Can we post Video.??? Made my own wiring harness for the doors. was not hard at all. I used a pedal adjusting switch from a le/se as my folding switch goes right in the empty spaces the xe has for switches. and the chrome covers were a added bonus!! will be complety done this weekend.....
