Bolts for the Armada lip...

I just got the Armada lip for my Titan, but it didn't come with the bolts to mount them. Is there any specific size bolts and washers to use on the lip? I would like to get it on in the next couple of days, pics will posted.

Re: Bolts for the Armada lip...

I asked the parts guy at my local stealership about the mounting bolts and he simply gave me a handful of what he called "quick clips" I believe. Imagine that, the dealership giving ANYTHING away for free. I guess it helped that they took like 2-3 weeks just to get the lip to their shop in the first place. They should not cost much, just go to the dealership and they should have them on hand.

I just eyeballed it, went to the local hardware store and picked up some stainless bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts. Worked like a charm.

Follow Carbeaux's advice. I used screws with nuts and washers. Screws work fine but its a pain in the butt trying to keep the screwdriver in place while you tighten thing up. A wrench and ratchet and socket would have been much easier.

Re: Bolts for the Armada lip...

Oh Yea,
I forgot to mention that the quick clips have screws that hold the lip onto the truck. They were simple to install and you did not have to hold them in place. You just clip them to the bottom of the bumper then you are ready to use the screws to hold everything together...
