Cost to paint bed cover?

Hi, anyone be able to tell me with some certainty how much it might cost me to have a silver fiberglass bed cover painted black. I can get the cover for $450 but it won't be much of a deal if it costs $500 to paint it. All the paint shops are closed today. Thanks.

I would wait until Monday and call, you are going to get a wide range of responses. Where do you live? That might be a variable.

I live in Atlanta...might need to act today....I have heard a couple hundred bucks but am skeptical.

I would get some estimates and recommendations on those paint shops.

Why be rushed, don't you want it done right?

OK now...I am trying to be patient....if you don't have an answer to my question please don't waste my time.

I am not rushing.....but bet that someone out there has a fairly good idea on what it costs to paint one of these things.

You looking anywhere from $99 to over $500!!!
It depends on the quality you are looking for!
Unless your trying to get it painted quick to cover up another color from the truck that you took it off of, I would do a little bit of research on your local paint shops!!

Don't waste our time, go out into the real world for real answers!!

I use to be a professional painter, and if you want a specific cost from this forum, you won't get one!!

Every painting company is different, and there are so many different qualities of paint!!

A true answer will come from your researching your local paint shops!!
You want the cost of a Titan part, I can give you a specific price!!

I have one for you. Why is it absolutely necessary that you need your info in such a hurry? Is it a deal that has to be done today or what?

Maybe with a little bit more info and more patience on your part, you might just get what you are looking for.

If I didn't need an answer today, I wouldn't be asking. But rather than providing an answer at first, the response was to wait and phone. I am not a rocket science, but sorta had that part figured out.

I understand that your answer is $99 to $500. This is clearly not very helpful.

If asking someone to stay off the thread is rude because they cannot answer your question in a straigthforward manner without giving juvenile advice, well then, I would be proud to be called rude any day of the week.

$99 will get you a sanding and 1 coat of semi-quality paint, and hope that the painter knows what the hell he is doing.

$500 will get you a sanding, 5 coats of a higher quality paint with a light sanding in between, and 5 coats of clear with very light sanding, and more than likely a good qualified painter!!!

That's about as specific as it can get!
Like I said, each company is different!!
You pay for the quality of paint, and the quality of the painter!!
