I've been searching for some alternative switches to control my driving lights, something similar to stock that is a 'flush' mount type of switch vs. the bug ugly switch that came with my lights. After doing some research on another forum, I came across these "Contura Rocker Switches" that are being used by many folks in the Jeep/offroad community. I ordered a catalog from the company that makes them and they offer an assortment of switch circuit types (SP, DP, ST, DT). Not to mention that they are sealed to keep dust/moisture out. They also offer two different styles of actuators in black, gray, and red colors.
I had hoped that the switch would be of the correct size to simply replace the stock switches with these Contura switches. That is not the case though. I went out and took some measurements of the factory lower dash/switch panel and unfortunately, swapping one for the other isn't going to work. The catalog that I was provided included information on mounting panels though too, along with the size of the mounting hole required to mount the panel.
I whipped up a quick drawing to see how much too big this mounting panel would be, and the answer is "significantly oversized". Unfortunately, it appears as though it would require alot of work to make this look halfway decent. I'm sure that someone with fiberglass skills could make a custom lower dash panel and mold the mounting panel into it, but I'm not up for that.
Regardless, if you are still interested in taking a look at these switches, here is a link to where you can get them from, along with a couple photos, and I've attached the drawing I created to show how it doesn't fit.

I looked into their "miniature rocker's" as well, and they are too small...figures!
