Projector Headlights?

Hey guys where is the best place that you have found to pick up a nice pair of projector head lights? I am always one for Ebay but I just want to make sure that I get a good product and not some junk. Thanks again for all the help.

Re: Projector Headlights?

Just got my ebay halo projectors today, haven't installed them yet as it's cold outside and I'm sick, but I am happy with what I see so far.

What I was most concerned about was the cut-off in the projector and if you take the bulb out and look, you can clearly see the cut-off is present.

btw - the bulbs in the projectors are H1's - not the stock 9006/9005 - so if you upgrade to HID's make sure to get H1's.

the ride is definetly not the greatest...but you should get used to it..just hope your roads are smooth out here in hawaii its pothole heaven so thats what makes my quality of ride feel like crap...as for rims i definetly think that 24's would look way better just cuz it would fill up the gaps in the fenders...but also if u run the 24's wit some lo-pros with the MC kit quality of ride would feel even worse..but you gotta sacrafice something for the look of your ride...just my $.02

Re: Projector Headlights?

22s.

its a truck, its supposed to have wheel gap for going over curbs and mud and all that..........

the ebay projector lights have crappy projectors but are a good base if you want to do a retro with good ones (e46bmw, honda s2000 etc) since you dont have to make an entire mold and support for them if you took stock headlights

Re: Projector Headlights?

gyrate explain to me how you are going to retro a stock titan headlight with a set of projectors? Not saying it cant be done but I am just curious as I have never seen this done before. You are not saying to add a set of HID's but to add the projector assembly itself? Thanks for all the info guys!

rcantu did it - he had them for sale in the for sale section.

I finally got my ebay projectors installed over the weekend. Haven't driven at night yet, but I'm sure they'll rock.

The ebay halo projector housings are not a nicely made as stock - they are cheaper in just about every regard. But for $200 (shipped), you get what you pay for. I doubt there is much of a market for $400-600 housings and unless you've actually worked with the cheapies most people might not appreciate the differences (enough to justify the outlay).

(Actually - I just say these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...QQcmdZViewItem - they look much better than the ones I bought, for not that much more... Damn.)

That all said - I now have an 'extra' set of stockers - maybe I'll look into retrofiting them with quality projectors....
