Re: Best looking bug deflector?

I have the OEM deflectors and I'm pleased with them.

Re: Best looking bug deflector?

Does anyone happen to have a Timberline Green (what I have) Titan with the stainless steel bug deflector that could post a picture please? I really like the Lund SS but not sure how it will go with my color.
Thanks if you do post a picture,

Re: Best looking bug deflector?

Oem, love the look but add a couple of bumpers just off center to keep it from making contact with hood.

Re: Best looking bug deflector?

I have the stock bugshield as well and have had good success with Nissan bug shields. I had a Pathfinder with one mounted and in 77K miles never had a problem. The best defense I have found to avoid rock chips is don't follow too closely to the vehicle in front of you. If you have difficulty observing the 4 second rule, like I used to, then get something like skyboi has...you'll need it.

Re: Best looking bug deflector?

I'm looking at the Lund SS. Does it follow the contour of the hood? I have the Westin black bull bars, will it look OK with that? It's about 125 bucks at Amazon but I'm just wondering how it will look?

I think it will look ok, but I am a little partial to black.

My Titan IS a bug deflector!!!! It tears down the highways destoying all bugs in its path. She eats moths and spits beetles.

Re: Best looking bug deflector?

Just picked one up yesterday, suppose to be Ventshade, but not sure if it is, was not in the regular packaging. One thing I figured out, for something that is only 4 screws and 2 pieces of tape, it not the easiest to get lined up for the install, thought I had it just right, stuck it to the hood, went to screw it, got it installed and one side had pushed closer to the hood than the other. Yes, it was my mistake, gonna pull it loose and redo. Overall it does look good. Will post pics later.
