Best HID kit

Who makes the best HID kit for the Titan, and any sponsored link's would be helpful.

Re: Best HID kit

Smart4Cars (ebay seller) has a really good rep on these boards:
http://stores.ebay.com/Smart4Cars

You can spend more then $98, but all you've done is spend more than $98...

Re: Best HID kit

As far as the "HID KITS" themselves, they're all pretty much the same. I got mine from eBay with no problems, but I am not happy with HID KITS... I am going to do the real deal projector swap, hopefully this weekend.

Here is my HID KIT only:

And here are the projectors I'm throwing in (these were just on the bench, NOT installed yet)

Re: Best HID kit

Best would be an OEM brand like Phillips or an aftermarket brand like McCullough.

Re: Best HID kit

Okay, for a really good setup, you need to get a housing that is setup for HID (projectors with cutoff).

If you're just gonna plug and play, go for Smart4cars off ebay.

Re: Best HID kit

I recently talked with another titan (soon to be former) who has been running $300 McCullough's for 3 years in his titan (with ebay projectors). He also bought Smart4cars hids for the wifes car a little over 2 years ago. After installing the wifes lights, he really, REALLY wanted to see that his $300 McCollough's were better...

He was disappointed to see there was absolutely no difference.

Like I said in the first post - you can spend more, and maybe it'll give you more peace of mind to know you have a more expensive, european made set, but don’t expect better or brighter light…

Re: Best HID kit

Like I mentioned in my post... They're basically all the same... and also the best bet would be projectors.

They are Murano projectors. I am waiting on some clear lenses, the color output is going to be insane.

Re: Best HID kit

I just bought a set of genuine Nissan ballasts out of an 08 Infiniti coupe with a set of D2R bulbs and the bulb holders from this guy on ebay for under $200 with shipping. This guy is great and has excellent products. If you need anything he is willing to work with you and get you what you want.

Here is his ebay name : onemean

Check him out as all the items he sells are top of the line. I believe you get what you pay for.
