Fog Light Accessory

Has anyone purchased the fog lights after they purchased the truck. If so, did you have the dealer install them or did you do it yourself and how difficult was it? I was quoted 200.00 for the light kit, i have not asked about the installation yet.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

You can get them cheaper. I will find you a link.

It's all plug and Play for your SE. Easy install, I would spend the money at the dealer.

BRB with a link.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

You didn't say if your Titan has auto on/off headlights or not. Try this link. http://www.abcnissanwholesale.com/MC-CAHG-HJ.aspx It’s the same place that bbomar linked to. It just gives you options for auto vs non-auto headlights. The more expensive ones are for auto headlights, the cheaper ones are for manual headlights.

Bbomar…. Sorry about stepping on your reply.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

Dealer charged me $199.00 for the parts and $140.00 for the installation. I was new and didn't know that the site sponsors sell it much cheaper.

Well, as for OEM Fog Light Kit, the site sponsors don't sell those unless they are associated with a dealer. There are a ton of dealers that have web based sale sites, that have rock bottom pricing, and they are your best source, for things if you can't find them on here.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

How about the replacement stalk? I have a new(2wk old now)2008 SE w/o auto headlights.
The kit for the 2008 from the abc site listed above does not state that it includes the stalk(however, if you know what the kit/code includes it should according to its code, but they should tell you this). Early kits did not automatically include the newer, stubby stalk that is found on the '8s. The stalk could be purchased as a separate item, however, the cost would go up. Check CourtesyParts.com for a better explanation as to what you need and what is included right in the item comments than is offered by abcnissan. I paid 200 + 80 bucks labor at our local dealer which comes with a 3/36 warranty as I bought a new truck and had them add the lights. It is a simple install on the '8 and we have gotten a lot of good service/how to advice from this dealer. Plus, we have gotten to know the master tech, so we basically spent $80 for a warranty and good will.
Tech did it w/o an appointment in about 20 min. which included discussing other lighting options with me. All things considered, it was $80 well spent.

Aesthetically, the lights finish off the front of the truck. Practically, they throw some good low, wide light.

Re: Fog Light Accessory

The stalk is usually included, but I would call to varify!

Re: Fog Light Accessory

I had dealer install fog lights on my 06 se. I think total cost was around 275-the dealer was actually cheaper than a custom auto place
