Exclamation LE Power Mirrors and Blinker Non-BT Question?

Ok, I have a someone desent question....
We all have learned that because Nissan wanted to save on cost in building the Titan, that we can add steering wheel controls on our Titans due to the fact that it has the same wiring in the SE as in LE's...
...So my question is for who ever can answer it is...If anyone would by the LE power folding mirrors for the '08 Titan with flood light and blinker (non-BT mirrors) and the control that goes on the door to fold the mirrors, do you all think that an SE is pre-wired for all that to just basically plug and play, maybe add a fuse or too? I wanted to know so I could possible do this mod, but didn't want to spend the money if nobody thinks it would work. Thanks in advance.

Re: LE Power Mirrors and Blinker Non-BT Question?

Are these the tow mirrors or the regular mirrors? I have the big tow mirrors and I would love for them to power fold.

Re: LE Power Mirrors and Blinker Non-BT Question?

The mirrors are plug and play if it's from the same trim level. (LE to LE or SE to SE)

If you have an 06 or newer LE with BT and want to go with the regular mirrors with blinker, it's plug and play but you will need to buy the switch to make them fold.

So to go from SE Non folding mirrors to an LE Folding mirrors, just buying the switch and LE mirrors will not work? Is there a way to make it work if this can't be done?

NO, LE to SE mirror cannot be plug and play. I'm sure you can make it work if you really want to but will involved a lot of work. Someone got the SE power mirrors to work in an XE but involved running wires to the BCM ect...

Re: LE Power Mirrors and Blinker Non-BT Question?

Well, I have a Pro4x with heated BT mirrors (I think auto-dimming, too)...are the SE BT mirrors also heated? If so, maybe if you have BT mirrors, you can plug and play the non-BT LE mirrors with power fold?
