Ah. 10-4 It's a 899/893 type.

The HIDS in the fogs are cool for the driver, but they are hell on the oncomers. WAAAAAAAY too bright. Plus if you cycle your highs often you could stand a chance on screwin them up, as HID's no likey to be cycled. Just my .02 cents.

Re: Fog Light Question

Does anyone know why they come with 899 and the chart Basballfanz posted says 881?

I replaced my Fog lights with HID 880/881 because I couldn’t find any in 899

Don't hold me to this....but I think it's the connector type that is the important part. hence if you buy any 893/899/881 type bulb you will be fine.

I would be interested to see if there are any physical differences between the types myself.

If you look at them they are identical except for the lighting element, the connection fit perfectly

Yeah thats what I was saying.....they all hook up the same because they are a "style" of connector. As far as the filament......you know more or have seen more than me.

Re: Fog Light Question

The 893 put out more light than the 899, but has a shorter
service life.
