I like that too. Gives the bib "contours" rather than just being flat... Very nice.

^ Very creative - I had the u-shaped one, but never thought about doing a duel trim set. The combination of both looks much better than any single trim piece - nice work

Re: Anybody have the Nissan chrome tailgate accent?

If you have harsh winter weather stay away from the plastic chromed partial plate. It just won't hold up. Installed one in October it was trashed by January. It pits, bubbles, and peels away. I complained to the vendor which notified the manufacturer and they sent me a new one free of charge. But what's the point.

I'm about to install the stainless full piece bezel which will stand up to VT winters just fine.

Question. Any ideas on how to remove the old plate. It's held with 3M Tape that's damn near as strong as super glue. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I removed the chromed U-shaped trim after it had
been on for two years...........heat gun & slid plastic
bondo spreader under it.

What's a bondo spreader? Is that similar to a putty knife or small joint compound trowel?

It is a flat piece of plastic, relatively soft & less likely to
scratch than most other objects.
I get them in auto section at Walmart.

If you don't care about it breaking, just rip it off. If you want to save it, heat it up a little, even a hair dryer will work, than use fishing line to remove it.
