MY '05 has a small crack at the filler neck sprayed fluid on the intake cover...took them 2 goes at it before they found it and replaced it..... like several others here they thought it was the radiator cap......Nissan Loaned me a car while it was in the shop ..Great Customer Service....
Yep. 2004 Radiator has a very slow leak. Needs to be replaced. Not too much of an issue in the summer, but in the winter the heat only works while moving.

yep i just went to the delership to get my oil changed and they told me my radiator was leaking.it is under warrenty so im going tomorrow to get it fixed.they had to order me one.
A lot of times it's just the radiator cap that's bad. There's even a TSB just for the radiator cap. I have an 04 and my radiator cap is bad. Very easy to tell if this is your problem...it leaves a greenish/white line from the rad cap down to the fan housing and also spits some coolant onto the top engine cover.
Has anybody else had problems with their radiator leaking fluid. i noticed yesterday my 04 titan was leaking radiator fluid on my drive way just wondering if anyone else has had these problems? thanx
yep they all fail another POS part in the 04s

Got my radiator replaced under the extended warranty on Tuesday. Would have been about $650 without it, but then I would have gotten an aftermarket w/o the plastic part that cracks ... if I was paying. I finally got a decent rental out of the Enterprise the dealer uses.
Rental was a 3.5 liter Maxima which sux being that low to the ground, (after being used to being a little lifted), but it had great acceleration and cornered even better than my Titan with its aftermarket suspension. Extremely impressed with it. It had 245/45/18 tires, but still had a smooth ride for stock suspension and rubber band tires. Nicest sedan I have driven.

Rubberband tires??? that is stock issue and I agree with the rest of your findings. When ever I drive the wifes car I feel like I am dragging my arse on the ground but when it come to passing and taking turns I find myself grinning ear to ear.

It's one of those subjective things, and IMO, 4.3-4.5" sidewalls are "rubberband tires" ... especially when compared even to the stock O.R. 33s, (P285/70/17), which have an 8" sidewall.
Btw, Tirerack has 76 different versions of models in this apparently very popular size!

I see your point now and here I always thought they were a pretty thick tire for cars compared to the lo-pros everyone installs nowadays.

I just replaced my 04's radiator 2 weeks ago, the plastic tank at the bottom developed a crack. I replaced with an aftermarket unit, I hope it lasts longer then the OE unit did...
Some GM vehicles a short while back had similar plastic tank issues also...

if you have to my buddy bought a radiator from advance with a lifetime warrenty and whenever it cracks he gets a new one for free.he has already done it like 2 or 3 times
ohh yeah and i just got mine fixed and my rental was a new mistubishi raider.it was a four door black with decent wheels and nerf bars.wasnt to bad of a little truck just the front is ugly as hell.
i have an 05 with 43k miles on it, smell the burning fluid, see some dried green spots. can't find the culprit. did that tb bypass, no leaks there, put a stronger hose clamp on overflow connection, not leaking. are those radiator caps worth a damn? might be replacing that next. its an upper leak, no fluid on drive, you can see where its hitting the fan and splattering it over the motor.

Sounds like a cap issue...All the radiator failures that I've read about have been the bottom tank cracking...
