XM radio

I am looking to put a satellite radio in my 06 Titan. I want an integrated unit, not the mount on your dash and plug into your Aux port type that they sell at Radio shack/Costco. Is there anywhere in Edmonton that I could get one. I have talked to a couple dealers, one said there was no such item for my Rockford Fosgate stereo and another said they had one for $570 installed.

I made a pretty detailed post on this yesterday and it's not the only one. I'll look around for it. Long and short of it though, you can purchase this online from a legitimate source. Here's where I got mine: http://mynissanparts.com/c-168-nissan-titan.aspx I'm sure there are probably some sites in the Titantalk sponsors section too. It's about $200 plus the cost of the antenna. The install is real simple.

Quick question...
Are all XM radio antenna connectors compatible?

If I upgrade to the integrated unit, will my existing roady xt antenna plug into it?

So by doing this you can listen to XM radio through your existing radio or do you have to put in an after market one? I have a tunner set up on my dash that just goes through FM transmitter but for cosmetic reasons id be nice for it to just work through the factory radio. If you can use the factory radio how do you change the channel and see what is playing and such... does it work through the radio? sry if this is a dumb question.

The selection of Satellite is done through the mode switch on your radio (FM1,FM2,etc...), and your factory head unit displays the station/artist info, the factory controls including the steering wheeel controls (if equiped).

It will work...Nissan uses a colored plug on their SAT antennas but the only function it serves is to guide and lock the antenna wire in place, just be careful when installing it not to bend the internal wire on the antenna
