TPMS- Anyone know the difference?

My truck is spec'd with TPMS sensor, part number 40700CK001. I also see that part number 40700CK002 was offered in 2005 and earlier wheels. Does anyone know for sure what the real differences between these two part numbers are? What would prevent me from installing 40700CK002 sensors? Is this a fit issue?

Thanks in advance.

Re: TPMS- Anyone know the difference?

The 2007's came with a different sensor. I think the 07's is yellow and the older one is green. They have a different transmit characteristics and may or may not work. I have seen them just work when you programed them and turn the light on right after. I have tried this before and ended up changing them and using the right ones for it. Best to get the ones it calls for and be done with it.
