Guys w/ HID Fogs ?

Where did you guys mount the ballasts for your HID fogs? I 3M'd the ballasts for the low beams on the little step right under the socket, but I can't decide where to put the others. Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated. I'll post pics once I'm done w/ the whole set-up. Thanks.

Re: Guys w/ HID Fogs ?

When i had mine i just 3M'd them to the inner fender out of harms way best i could. It was hard as hell to get them off when i tried too. SO if you prep the area first should be no worries where you mount them. Assuming yours is weather sealed tight and guaranteed.

I was wondering about that. I used 3 (1/2") strips of 3M on the ballasts for the lows and they felt pretty secure on that shelf. I may go back and zip tie them just to be safe. These are guaranteed for life, so no worries there. I'll look into both options, thanks!

Re: Guys w/ HID Fogs ?

I mounted the balast directly on top of the fog light housing. There is a bit of a flat spot to even it out. I used the heavy duty 3m double sided tape to hold it in place then used extra long zip ties and wrapped them around the balast and the fog light housing.
