Smile 2005 Nissan Titan...Just Bought. Factory warranty almost up. Anything I need to know?

I just purchased an 05 Nissan Titan LE - No Fear Package. It has 35,000 Miles. Is there anything that I need to know? Or anything I should have the dealer look at? Was there any recals on this Titan??

Thanks for the Help

The early '05 modles were still having the rear end issues. May want to have dealer check the rear end, make sure no leaking seals, diff is good. Should make sure it has upgraded diff. cover with heat dissipating fins to reduce risk of rear end failure. Also there was a recall on the KC models '05 to have the wiring going into one of the back doors tied up with a new mounting tie wrap due to wires getting pinched in door, causing failures in driver's seat belt electronic tensioning during a hard brake. I think those were the two major issues. Now I had an issue with my '05 ( as did many others) where the condensation drain line for the A/C condensor was too short, causing water to build up on the passenger side front floorboard. My dealer repaired this for me at no charge by installing a new, longer drain line. Some lines were also "crimped" accidentally at the factory, causing the line to back up and drain into the same place (passenger side floor board). Just have those checked out and make sure they check your radiator cap, they tend to have cheap radiator caps that fail and spray radiator fluid all in the engine bay ( you will know because there will be a dry greenish colored substance on top of the radiator and on top of the engine). They should replace the cap for free also.
Well, that is all of the major issues I know of off the top of my head, congrats on the new Titan....I am sure you will enjoy it and want to start modding to rleease the beast within.

also dont forget about the brakes. in 04' and 05' they had a "brake judder" and nissan extended the warranty from 3 years or 36k miles to 3 yrs. unlimited miles for this issue. They replace rotors and pads. Other than that, thats the only problem my 05' CC Se had.
