OEM Fog light kit....2008?

For a 2008?

I searched here on the site, and also google, and the sites that came back, none show the newer stalk the 2008's use, just the older ones.

So maybe one of you kick a$$ search guru's can link me to the proper OEM kit for a 2008?

thx!!

Agreed, I went to my local stealership ( Fontana ) and they have the kit 999F1-YQ001 and their computer says its for the 2008, I said to myself, wtf its a 10 minute drive to humor myself.

Well its not the right one, he was convinced it was, since its all he could read, "Its what they say is the correct one." when in fact they are wrong.

I'm willing to purchase the 2008 stalk seperate, but seems no one has one in stock to compair.

For damn sure I wont pay for an item to be shipped, that I know will be wrong LOL

EDIT I found out the 2007-08 Versa Stalk is the same used on our Titan part #25540-EE90A the stalk is 52 bucks

Re: OEM Fog light kit....2008?

There is no official kit from Nissan, however a few dealer will "make" an 08 kit.
Bodean (Jeff from Nissan of Fort Pierce) can get you the fog light kit with an 08 stalk for $195 IIRC.

Re: OEM Fog light kit....2008?

kit for other years than the 08 come witht he stalk, and 2 fogs.

granted your truck is pre wired for the kit?

XE, not likely
SE, more than likely
LE, almost definate

Just have to look under the bumper to see if it has leads that would go to the fogs area, there is a thread here about it.

here is the link to check!

Re: OEM Fog light kit....2008?

just a small update.

I installed my Fog light kit today, took a whole 8 minutes lol.

Took longer to find the tools than to install.

Anyway, to the issue of not having the right stalk.

The one I listed above that is for a Versa, indeed works on our trucks.

For that is the route I had to take to keep both sides matching.

So If anyone wants the factory 2005-2007 Fog light stalk, I'm getting rid of it fairly cheap, save ya some cash if you find the fogs seperately? Thing is brand new.

30 bucks shipped to lower 48.
