I'm looking for a chrome bug shield and a sub box for under the rear bench seat. Please PM me if you have one / know where one can be located.

Re: Lazer-Lite tonneau installed today

I'm not digging it, seems like it doesn't flush out to the bed.

Looks like there is a 5/8 inch gap all around the lid.

Maybe its just me

I'm in the sheet metal field, and it looks like a piece of 1/4 inch thick aluminum powder coated and slapped onto the bed of your truck.

Don't mean to come off as an a$$, just giving my opinion.

Re: Lazer-Lite tonneau installed today

Don't worry about it.

When I was looking for tonneau covers, the raised edge was something that turned me off. This is because of the waterproof bead that runs all the way around the bed. After looking at the alternative (having an overlapping cover that prevents your tailgate from opening and scratches your bed and also makes your bed look like a cooler) I picked this one. It's only visible from one angle.

The aluminum is actually curved, you can't tell by the pictures but it curves on the sides and substantially in the rear.

And as a final note, my first tank with it on netted me 18.47 mpg. Could be a fluke so I'll keep my eye on it, but it was a pleasant surprise with gas prices nowadays.
