So I was getting my oil changed and watched this idiot trying to beat the air filter cover back on.... He managed to hit the washer fluid reservoir with the palm of his hand while doing this.
I get home and notice fluid leaking from my Titan... what the F**K! So I go back to this place and show the manager but of course it isn't leaking by this time. I told him to look in the reservoir and look at the fluid level! It is 1/3 of the way full. He wasn't believing me so I told him to fill it back up and that I would come back in the morning and show him.
I am heading there this morning at 8:00 am. Any suggestions on what I should request from them?
Does anyone have any idea what a new reservoir cost's + Install?
Why did they take the air filter cover off for an oil change??

You should have stopped the guy right then and there if you saw someone "beating" on your truck. WTF? I woulda walked out there and asked him what he was doing. If the guy/manager isnt understanding then it sounds like you have yourself a bonified pissing contest here.
Good luck.

I was about to get out and start screaming at the idiot when he quit. Like I told the manager- "if you have to beat something to get it to close it must not be aligned correctly"
The manager understands what the issue is, he was just unsure where the leak was coming from. I hope to have this resolved soon.
The seal around the pump on mine randomly started leaking a couple of weeks ago. When I pulled it off I saw that it's a bit of a weak point. There is also a fluid level sensor at the bottom of the tank that could be leaking. A little bit of shear on either one of those seals would cause them to start leaking. If they give you too much trouble or want to charge you anything for it, just do it yourself. It was a > 30 minute repair. PM me if you end up needing a write up.

Sounds like he may take care of you then, which is good. Makes you wonder sometimes how people get the jobs they get.

Did you repalce this seal yourself? Where is the pump located on the reservoir? Is it at the bottom or 1/3 of the way up?
One more reason why I have never brought my vehicles to a shop for anything other than warranty work. Hopefully you get it taken care of without too much headache.

Both the pump and the level sensor are located at the very bottom of the reservoir on the side of the tank closest to the air box.
I loosened all the airbox bolts I could get to. (there is one you can't get.
Disconnected the cover from the airbox and air intake (the part with the MAP sensor on it)
Disconnected the reservoir. (there is a hidden bolt behind some foam padding on the side closest to the radiator)
I just siliconed the hell out of the busted seal with sealant from Autozone.
