Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

Check with CANBACK Canvas tops(think thats how they spell it), Anywho in my opinion BEST TOP doesn't build a good product. Thier HEEP tops are known to draw up and bust and or crack. At least make sure its a canvas top if you get it if they are the only one offering it

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

Thanks bthelton, looks like CANBACK doesn’t make one for the Titan yet. Looks like I will be the first on the forum. I’ll keep you guys posted, it should be in any day now.

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

Well I finally got the Bestop installed and I think it will serve its purpose. It rain here last night and everything stayed nice and try in the bed. The top suck in a bit going down the road like the Jeep tops do, but other than that, I think it looks pretty sweat. It is the first one I have seen on any truck.
Here are a few pics, let me know what you think.

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

That is kinda neat.

How hard is it to take down and install? How is it mounted?

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

The install took me and a buddy about 1.75 hr and a 12 pack, but we took our time on a Saturday. The rails of the top attach to the bed rails (or the utilitrack if you have it) with 2 clamps per side. The rear has a bar across the top of the tail gate that the window attaches to. The front window is velcroed to the front of the bed. The bows that hold up the top are pinned to the rails so they can be removed.

To let it down now, I’m not sure, haven’t done it. I would guess 5-10 min. You have to take out the windows, then lay it to the front of the bed, still attached to the side rails with pins. You can leave it there or pull the pins and it will all come off. If you want the side rails off, just unclamp them.

I will try to get more pics up later.

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

I got it at cost, but they start at $650 plus tax from what I have seen.

Re: Soft Camper Top "SuperTop"

I saw another model the folded up against the cab like a boat canvas would. I can't remember the price but was looking at those and bed covers, bed covers are a lot cheaper.. I think I looked at the canback model.

i think it looks good on the truck though man!
