Wide-angle Tow Mirror popped out

A guy with an SUV came over the centerline on a curve and barely clipped my driver's sideview mirror--caught maybe half an inch. However, the wide angle mirror on the bottom popped out due to the impact. The main mirror is OK, but I really like that wide-angle bottom mirror and the parts guys at the local Nissan dealership say I'll have to replace the whole mirror, which will cost me about $300.

How do I just replace the driver's side wide-angle mirror for a 2004 Titan LE KC 4x4 (tow)?

Re: Wide-angle Tow Mirror popped out

mine also popped out and the socket that holds the mirror in place and allows it to move broke. I just superglued it back in place. doesnt move any more but it still works. Id assume your mirror is gone and in a million pieces. The price of a new one made me use the glue. Have you looked at the supporting vendors sites? Ive found they are alot cheaper than the dealer when camparing prices. Also try junk yards.
