Exclamation Avoid SoCal Motorsports...

Not sure if this is the correct thread or not....but....

Avoid doing business with SoCal Motorsports for your parts and accessories.

I placed a $473.00 order and after one month of no response to emails and phone messages I finally got a commitment from John for a refund of my order due to the part being out of stock (excuse). Several days after a refund was promised still have nothing!

Also the SoCal Vendor Sponsor forum on the other Titan board has been pulled...I guess due to all the negative publicity and also the fact that John (moderator) was changing the individual post to favor his company.

I have resorted to contacting the credit card company, Better Business Bureau and also a local attorney to look at litigation possiblities. Johns's bad business practices are now suddenly going to come back to haunt him!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Re: Avoid SoCal Motorsports...

Glad to see you are doing something about what they did. I think these companies bank on people just "letting it go".

Good luck. You seem to be doing everything you should. I'll bet the credit card company gets their attention.

Re: Avoid SoCal Motorsports...

Seems to be the same complaint every time I see a complaint about SCMS.
Bad communications and shouldn't list things for sale if it's not in stock, or at least tell peoples it's not in stock.

They are working on getting me a new y-pipe from Volant so I'll wait to pass judgement until then. Daniel at Volant pretty much told me new sections of the y-pipe I need would be available in Feb and I never heard anything after that. And I only had an issue with shipping when it came to SoCal.
