Re: Anybody outstandingly impressed with their HID's?

I purchased a set of HIDs for my stang from www.stangmods.com and they were the most impressive lights I seen in my life. I got the 8000K tempature and they looked just like the lights on the 350Z or Infinity G35. the entire kit was plug-in and I had it on the car in under 30 minutes. No wiring skills needed. the hardest part was mounting the ballast's in a good secure spot.

Re: Anybody outstandingly impressed with their HID's?

I have bought probably 12-15 HID kits off of ebay for me (4 kits for both of my trucks) and all of my friends and family and I have have only one ballast that was bad out of the whole bunch. They are awesome and well worth the inexpensive price. All have been around 70 bucks to my door. I don't have a favorite buyer, just whatever one has the cheapest price for my application. I would highly recommend getting a set!

Re: Anybody outstandingly impressed with their HID's?

Light output with 10,000k will suck. Anything over 6000k is impractical and only good for showing off a bluish or purple hue. YMMV

I disagree. 10,000 K will obviously not have as high of a good output of light at 6,000K but i had 10,000K on my halos and i was highly satisfied with them. The only reason i am getting rid of em and wanting hid on my stocks is because i am getting the AVS smoke cover for them.
