Another fog light question

Hello all, just bought two fog lights off ebay for my 2008 XE, and they didnt come with the 5mm hex nut or the little groomets that the lights snap into. I think I can find the hex nut ok but having trouble finding the groomets. Called the dealer yesterday, parts guy was a little short with me and kinda told me i would have to buy the whole light kit. sounds alittle crazy, $200 light kit to get probaly 15 cents part. anyone have any ideas. thanks

yep..... i had the same problem. bought some fog lights off ebay and didn't have any nuts or grommets...... well went to napa and got the nuts. and i called 3 different dealerships and ya, the grommets come with the fog lights when they order em. well buddy i'll tell ya what i did if u can keep a secret................. haha i waited till bout 3 a.m. went to the nearest dealership and took sum from another titan there. lol not sure how old u are i'm 21 so it wasn't no problem for me kinda fun haha. or u could find out where the dealership gets their fog lights and see if u can order some from them....... but thats what i did.........

GM PART # 12085498 is a direct fit pigtail for the fog lights. You can get it at any GM dealer, order online or go to a local autopart store and have them cross reference the number.

Allready thought about raiding the dealers lot after hours, but didnt figure 15 cent part was worth going to jail, but it did cross my mind. lol thanks for the reply

have you tried a place like Auto Zone? They are usually pretty good about having those small parts like that on ahnd in the store.

Havent tried auto zone yet, spent two hours at dealership today with parts manager looking in every bin they had, also checked in their body shop without any luck. The guy is gonna try to order some from nissan. I cant say he didnt try to find them, I was ready to go and he was just getting warmed up. lol Thanks for the replys.
