? For all w/CAI's:

I'm looking for what brands seal around the tube and against the hood.
I know Volant is completely sealed.

AEM Brute force, is a very good CAI. I had the S&B on my Titan and it performed well but was a bit loud for me. I have the Brute force on my new ride and it is not loud and performs very well. I think Titanblue has one and he likes it. It is a dry flow filter witch I think is better.

Re: ? For all w/CAI's:

My Stillen CAI is a sealed system that replaces the box only. You use the OEM tube.
It is a much better sound than the Fram Boost it replaced, and it's true cool air from the front fender opening. The Fram was great, I just did not like the opening around the tube as it entered the filter box.

When it's 98 degrees outside, cold air intake ain't happening.

Thanks BBF, it shows a couple but no clarifications as to which seal out engine bay air & which don't. Engine bay temps in Phx are ungodly & I want to spend my $ on a CAI that seals out that air.

Re: ? For all w/CAI's:

My K&N fipk makes a pretty tight seal to the hood IMO. Some argue the oil messes up the MAF sensor, but I've had no probs after 120k miles.

What he said^^ I got an K&N KIPK and had no problems with it. It sounds pretty good at all RPMs also

Well my AEM heat shield is sealed off once the hood is close but there's a big gap in between the tube and the heat shield. I sealed that off with some material I got from Summit Racing.
