Touch-Up Paint for Factory Running Boards

Hi All,

Does anyone know if a touch-up paint is available that closely matches the grey used on the Nissan Factory accessories? I have a long scratch on my drivers side running board that shows the aluminum underneath.

Thanks!

Have you checked with the Nissan dealer?

Here is an idea that I might try someday on my OEM running boards:

I think that black would look better than gray.

This has been ask before with no definite answer. I don't think the dealer will know the paint code to the OEM steps as they don't really make them. Best thing to do is go to the auto part store and find one that closely match it.

I'd like to find that gray also. I have the bed tubes along with the step tubes. Don't know if it would look good or not, but I like to paint my bug deflector the same color and see how it would look.

My tubes appear to be symetrical.
I think I am going to swap them side for side, and put the scratches under the isides of the truck.

Re: Touch-Up Paint for Factory Running Boards

I tried to find a match a while back for a scratch on one of my bed rails. No such luck. Having the whole piece powder coated was an option. I think I'll just live with the scratch.

That's actually a great idea. Give this thread a bump if that idea works.
