Question Need advice on a 6" lift

I know that there are many numerous threads that are kind of about this thread that im asking about. Sorry, but i just dont understand the lingo. I drive a 2004 LE 4X2. I am wanting to put a 6" lift. Please let me know which lift kit i should buy and what else is needed that is not included in the kit. I also need to know what tire size to get. I was thinking about 35" or maybe
37" but am still not sure. I drive about 3/4 of my miles in city.

So in summary:
-Which 6" lift kit?
-What size tires

- btw I am either getting 18" or 20" XD Series Monsters. Havent decided yet
Thanks!

If most of your driving is on streets:

If you go off-road a fair amount:
http://www.prgproducts.com/shop/prod..._spindle_lift/

A bracket-drop type lift (CST, fabtech, procomp) would be a waste for 2WD.

I wouldn't get a wheel larger than 18", especially if you're going off-road. I'd go with 17" wheels. The tires are cheaper, and I think they look better (personal preference). I wouldn't go larger than 35", unless you re-gear your truck. You'll definitely notice the power loss with 37" tires.

EDIT: If you're in Claremont, CA you should just give Greg (PRG) a call and have him set you up/do the install. He's in the southeast part of Riverside (Woodcrest).
