Just picked up my 2008.5 Titan SE CC on monday. Ordered the G2 On Wed. Installed last night, Very easy to install, clean lines. Now if there was a better way for the drain tubes, have the OEM Bed Liner. (Note, no mods required with the liner, but you have to make sure you get the rails pushed as far forward as they will go for the bed to close).
If you have a CC, the picture in the link above will show you exactly where the holes are located, so that should make your guessing where to drill a little more accurate at least. I have a KC and the holes are set a bit further back.
Also as shown in the link, you might as well plan a trip to Home Depot to pick up the smaller tubing and connectors.
Well, this cover has been good, still have not got the tubes routed. Well, just got in a warranty replacement. Opened it up a few weeks ago and found that several of the rivets had ripped out of the alum frames on the panels. Took it to where I bought it, they made a call, and a few days later they had me a replacement.
We found more damage today when we took the old one off at different locations.
Hey, man. Thanks for posting about your troubles with the BakFlip. I was considering one because of how low-profile it is, but I'll be looking elsewhere since you had such bad luck. +/- $800 is a lot to blow on a cover that keeps needing to be replaced!
What are you thinking of replacing it with?

Honestly, as long as they keep warranting them, I will keep using it. They came out with an HD Version. Place where I bought it (Local off road supply shop) is going to see if he can talk them into upgrading to the HD.
There is no other low profile cover that really fits my needs. If you do get one, buy it locally so you can return it for warranty if needed and not have to deal with shipping it back yourself.
this is the one i've got....very low profile, very easy to use, rolls up and velcroes at the front of the bed so you can still use your full bed if you need it....plus i got it for $280 (that includes shipping)...only took about 20 minutes to install and there is no drilling required...

That looks pretty good. I do not really care for how they stick up some, I had an EXTANG on an older Mazda truck. Worked well, did not roll up like that.
Bak Flip is warranting this one as well. Except they are upgrading it to the newer HD Model. We will see how the new one does. I will give them a 10 on customer support. Not sure which truck (MFG) but the Bakflip HD is an OEM Equipment item, so you would think that it is pretty durable.
