Im Thinking about buying a bed extender and I found a guy that has one for pretty cheap, he has the Utilitly track in his bed and I dont. Will that be a problem for installing it in my truck if I dont have the Utility track?
thanks

Re: UtilityTrac bed extender

I think the factory bed extender is for the Util-trak system..only...But there are several aftermarket ones around

Re: UtilityTrac bed extender

I'll sell you mine for $100 with the brackets. It came with my truck and I have no real use for it.

Re: UtilityTrac bed extender

Does anyone know if the Utility rack it easy mount up? Just basically drill into the bed?

Also can you find out how much shipping would be to 98387?
thanks

Re: UtilityTrac bed extender

the sliding bed extender that works with the utility bed package won't work on a non-utility truck.

you can however buy the correct brackets @ amp research. The non-sliding non- UTB package extender mounts bolt to where the factory tie downs are located.

installing the utility bed package is difficult on a non-equipped truck.
