No I dont think so. My buddy has 295/70/17 with no leveling kit and his doesnt rub at all. You should be fine with the leveling kit and 305's.
On stock rims, but he's running some type of XD, so probably pinch weld mod, even for 33s with a level kit, (at least if they are 9" width and 4.5" backspacing).

Will you explain the whole offset/backspacing thing? I'm getting ready to get new rims.

Backspacing is how far the inside edge of the rim sticks in from the mounting flange. Offset can be used to find backspacing if you know the wheel width, i.e. 0mm offset on a 8" rim is 4.5" of backspacing, but on a 9" rim 0mm of offset is 5" of backspacing, so alone the offset doesn't mean much.
Backspacing and wheel width, have the most influence on if you will have rubbing either at the spindle or at the pinch weld. Tire width, height, and tread also have an influence.
For running the largest tires, stock rims (8" width and ~5.5" of backspacing), work best, as far as rubbing issues. The exception is with CST spindles, for their bracket lifts and their 4" spindle. This forces the use of a smaller backspacing, (bs), with the largest tires, to move the rim outward, and away from their spindles. With ProComp, Rancho, Fabtech bracket lifts, level kits, and coilover lifts, the stock bs is fine.
For fender rubbing at the pinch weld, a 9" width with a 4.5" will rub with a 35x12.5R17 on a ProComp stage 1 bracket. Same wheel will cause tires to rub with a Nitto TG LT295/70R17 33.2" with a level kit.
I'm considering some 8" width rims with 4.5" bs, and looking at my current Toyo M/Ts and their clearance on stock rims when turning the wheels, they will rub fairly bad, and that is tucked a whole inch further in, than the 9" with the 4.5" backspacing. Btw, my front is lifted 3" on a 4x4, tires also a LT295/70R17, but 33.5", wheels, 17x7.5" with 5.375" bs.
I'm planning on running 35/12.50/17 Toyo MT's. I have a MT kit so I'm 3" wider per side and I'm running Ionicdynamic fiberglass fenders. I'm not sure what offset/bs my 18's that I have now are though. They seem to work pretty well though. They dont rub anywhere.

Sounds like maybe you should get rims with the same width and bs, since you don't have any issue with your current rims. Probably inner rubbing on the spindle etc. is the only thing you have to worry about with the fenders.
You can measure your current rims even while they're mounted and get a fairly accurate number for the backspacing, as for the rim width, it is 1" less than you measure, i.e. measured 10" is a 9" rim, (wheel manufactures don't count the lips). This is why a 9" rim with 0mm offset has 5" of bs, instead of 4.5" of bs, 10/2=5".

Ya thats what I was thinking. I'll try and measure them tomorrow. I'm running stick spindles so I have lots of clearance there too. Thanks for all the info.
Ya i would install it myself but was curious mostly i guess of what is the best kit to get, there are a few different sizes out there(some that require a rear face lift too). Also if any one knows where to get a good lift at a good price i'd be interested in that too.
Thanks guys
i am running 315/70/17 with stock hieght and no rubbing guys. just had a buddy at work put a leveling kit ob his z71 avalanche and went up to 28565 18 I think and had to trim because they were going to rub some bad lol
